Police investigating an incident in the Franklin Street area of Belfast on the evening of Thursday 2 July have charged a 35-year-old man with a number of offences, it has been revealed.
The charges include taking a motor vehicle without authority, wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm, theft and assault on police.

He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Saturday 4 July.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
