The Magherafelt Road has now re-opened following the collision

A man's died following a motorcycle crash in Moneymore.

It happened in the Magherafelt Road area at around 1.45 yesterday afternoon.

Police say the bike was the only vehicle involved.

Police confirm that a man has died following a motorcycle road traffic collision at the Magherafelt Road area of Moneymore this afternoon. Inspector Johnstone said: “

At around 1:45pm, it was reported that a motorcycle was involved in the incident."

“The Magherafelt Road has now re-opened following the collision."

“Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage available, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 630 10/5/19.”
