The attack happened in the Creggan area of the city last night,
A man in his thirties has been shot in the legs in a so-called paramilitary style attack in Derry - Londonderry.
It happened on the corner of Linsfort and Rinmore Drive in the Creggan area of the city around half 10 last night.
The victim was shot in each ankle and once in the thigh.
He's currently receiving treatment in hospital.
