Marine Ciaran Maxwell due back in court on terrorism offence

A Royal Marine from Northern Ireland is due back in court charged with terrorism offences.

Ciaran Maxwell who's originally from Larne is accused of manufacturing explosives, making devices and storing them in hides here and in England.

Earlier this year, two separate hauls of weapons were discovered in Carnfunnock and Capanagh forest in County Antrim.

The 30 year old, now with an address in Exminster, Devon was remanded in to custody on Friday after being arrested in a pre planned swoop last month.
