Masked man carrying tool robs Omagh off license

Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery of an off license in Omagh.

It happened at around 10.40pm last night on the Old Mountfield Road.

A masked man carrying a tool entered the businesses and threatened staff before making off with cash.

He has been described as being medium build and wearing a black jacket, denim jeans and white trainers.

Police say he's believed to have headed in the direction of Castleview.

Anyone who has any information regarding this incident is urged to contact the PSNI by calling 101, quoting reference 1460 29/08/18.

Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
