Belfast City Council has today launched a new special competition as part of it's 'Summer Season' programme.
'The Great Belfast Busk Off' aims to celebrate the city's "vibrant and diverse music scene" according to the council.
Earlier, the Mayor of Belfast City Council, Deirdre Hargey was joined at Corn Market by local musicians for the launch.

Belfast City Council is calling on all "budding" musicians to get involved and take part in the competition.
It will take place on the afternoon of Saturday 18th August.
