Mid and East Antrim Borough Council is conducting an internal probe into the procurement of a major professional contract. It's understood to follow complaints from a whistleblower.
Details of the probe are contained in May's Audit and Scrutiny Committee minutes.
The matter was dicussed by Council in closed session, meaning media and the public were barred.

The Committee was then chaired by SDLP Councillor Declan O'Loan, but when phoned by Q Radio News this morning he declined to comment on the matter.
