South Down MLA Jim Wells has said he is not on a "homophobic crusade" after pulling support from the National Trust over its backing of gay pride.
Speaking exclusively to Q Radio, the DUP assemblyman said he did it because the organisation "discriminated against its employees".
He claims staff members in Norfolk were "forced" to either wear gay pride badges or stay out of public-facing roles:
In a statement, the National Trust said that they "attended Belfast Pride to show the Trust's support and to demonstrate its commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion."
The chair of Newry Pride says the DUP is a "disgrace".
