"Significant challenges need tackled to deliver better health outcomes for the gay community".
That's according to the North Antrim MLA, Daithí McKay.
Sinn Fein's health spokesman has been meeting LGBT groups including the Rainbow Project.
Afterwards he said "Homophobia and its impact s an example where significant work remains to be done".
But Mr McKay praised Health Minister Michelle O'Neill's recent lifting of the lifetime ban on gay men donating blood.
