N.I. students take "strike" action over global warning

Students gather in Belfast's Cornmarket area

Students around the world are walking out of school today to try to urge governments to do more about global warming.

The day of action is expected to involve around a hundred countries -  including Northern Ireland.

Schools in Derry/Londonderry and Belfast are taking part - inspired by Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg, who protests weekly outside Sweden's parliament.
