Newry firm lands £500k cash boost

Ten new jobs are being created at a Newry-based health and safety firm after it secured £500,000 cash.

Healthy Buildings trading as HBE ltd, will also invest in its subsidiary, BlueZone Technologies.

BlueZone Technologies is a specialist software solutions company that develops products for the management of Supply Chain, Health & Safety, Inductions and Compliance eLearning within the built environment.

CEO Adrian Byrne said, "BlueZone Technologies has been developing our manager product for the past 18 months and launched it into the market in March."  

He continued saying that the Growth Loan Fund cash will be used to improve the product. Click below to listen.
