NI Fire and Rescue's 'STOP' campaign will end on Sunday.

The North South initiative was realised following deaths in accidental house fires.
NIFRS say the number of incidents overall has fallen but "one death is one too many".
Newry District Commander Podge McKeown says 70% of house fires are caused mainly by three things,

"The first one being cooking and cooking appliances, and the electrical supplies such as your mains and electrical goods so your tumble dryers, dishwashers, that type of thing."

He added, forgotten cigarettes are also a major cause of accidental house fires.

The acronym stands for:
Smoke alarms. Test your alarms. Obvious signs of danger. Plan your fire escape.
