Bogus door-to-door sellers are being targeted in a major police campaign.
Working alongside the Policing and Community Safety Partnership, the first 'No Cold Calling Zone' in Northern Ireland has been set up in Banbridge.
It follows numerous reports of vulnerable people being duped into paying for fake services.
Window stickers have been distributed and signs are on display.
A police spokesperson said, "The stickers give a householder the opportunity to warn cold callers that they are not wanted at their door, that ignoring that warning could constitute a breach of 'Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading' regulations and that further action may be taken by Trading Standards."

No Cold Calling Zone stickers are available on request from your local Crime Prevention Officer by calling 101 or from the Policing and Community Safety Partnership by calling 0300 0300 900.
