Newry Mourne and Down district has the highest rate of energy recovery from rubbish in Northern Ireland.
That's according to the latest DAERA figures.
They show that over fifty per cent of our household waste is converted to usable heat, electricity or fuel.
The recovery rate across the six counties increased by 1.6 per cent compared with the same period (July - September) last year.
