Sacred Heart College has confirmed on social media that staff and students in Manchester are safe.
A group went to the city on a school trip.
Last night, they were in their hotel when the explosion occured at an Ariana Grande concert.
The bomb resulted in the death of 22 people and 59 injuries.
The hotel that the group from Sacred Heart College were staying in, is outside the area of last night's incident.
The Principal of the college released a statement:
"Staff and students on the Manchester trip are safe and well and on their way home.
They are due to return to Sacred Heart College at 8pm tonight, approximately."
Parents of pupils and family members were reassured by the post:
