One person taken to hospital following crash involving bus and car in Co. Antrim

The air ambulance charity was tasked to the collision at Cargan this morning

Emergency services are at the scene of a collision between a bus and car in Cargan, near Glenariff Forest Park in Co. Antrim. 

The PSNI, the ambulance service and Air Ambulance were tasked to the crash on the Glenravel Road at around 9.20am. 

Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one person has been taken to Antrim Area Hospital. 

The incident is ongoing. 

The Glenravel Road has been closed in both directions and is expected to remain closed for some time. 

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route for their journey.
