Sheikh calls for Stormont to look beyond RHI scandal

A Muslim religious leader's calling on our newly elected representatives to focus on the bigger picture.

Sheikh Doctor Muhammed al-Hussaini's comments come as MLAs continue power-sharing talks with the Irish Government in attendance at Stormont.

At a two-day conference in Rostrevor to foster a "better quality of disagreement", the Sheikh will be leading some discussions between cross-community politicians and religious leaders from the Catholic, Christian, Muslim and Jewish faiths.

The Music of Healing event starts tomorrow at the An Cuan Centre in Rostrevor with a concert and all parties sharing a meal.

It is presented by acclaimed poet and musician Tommy Sands.
