A man's been arrested after a woman and three young children were targetted in an alleged hate crime in Banbridge.

The PSNI says windows were smashed at a house on Cline Road - just before midnight last night and a car parked outside was left damaged.

Three men had been inside the property at the time.

The attack has infuriated local people not least the property's landlord Peter Maxwell:

Around an hour later, white paint was thrown over the front of a property where the wndows were smashed.

We're told the woman and her three young children inside weren't injured but have been left shocked by what happened.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of racially motivated criminal damage in connection with the incident.

He's also being held over a previous attack at the same house back in March.
