Over 1,000 people took part in Cookstown’s Darkness Into Light walk on Saturday morning.
The event was organised by Pieta House.
People walked and ran the five kilometre route as dawn was breaking.
The symbolic walk into the light is aimed at encouraging people to speak out about suicide and mental health issues.
Over 150,000 people participated in walks at various locations.
