The search is on for three teenage girls - missing from east Belfast since Wednesday.

14-year old Anna Newman from Helen's Bay but originally from Kilrea, Amber Scott who's 15 and from east Belfast and another  unnamed 14-year-old girl are all pupils at Bloomfield Collegiate.

They disappeared two days ago and the PSNI has launched an appeal to find them.

Anna's father, Anthony told Q RADIO - the three families are at their wits end with worry. However, he revealed that the girls have been active on social media and have even taken money from a bank account.

“Anna has not been home for 2 nights and we’re frantic with worry.  Anna, you are not in trouble, we just want you
home safe”.

Amber’s mum, Gwen Scott, said, “This situation is every parents worst nightmare. Not knowing where Amber is just terrifying. Nothing else matters,
just please come home Ambi.”

The families believe that as time passes the young girls will become increasingly vulnerable.

The families are asking parents to speak with their children in case there is anything they may have heard or seen that can help find Amber, Anna and their
friend, or can get a message to them.

All of the families are appealing to the public to share the PSNI Facebook posts and are urging anyone to call 101 if they think you have seen them.
