A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being struck by a car in Newry.
The collision happened on the Dublin Road at around 11.20pm on Saturday night.
The road remains closed this morning.
Diversions are in place whilst enquiries are conducted at the scene and some delays are expected in the area.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or who captured dash-cam footage from the area at the time it occurred to contact them on 101.
