A pensioner has died following a house fire in Cookstown.
The man, aged in his 80's, passed away before emergency services arrived at the property on the Lissan Road.
Two fire crews attended the scene from Cookstown and Dungannon Stations attended but the fire had already burnt itself out.
The PSNI were alerted to the incident shortly before 9.50am on Tuesday morning.
An investigation has been launched, however, a spokesperson said the blaze is understood to have been started accidentally.
