A public consultation event will be held to discuss further developments for the old Castlederg police barracks.
The former station on the Castlefin Road was closed in January this year.
It has remained empty and unused since it's closure, also posing as an eye sore for some residents.
Sinn Fein councillor Ruari McHugh has welcomed the move, and says its a long time coming.
A date has yet to be decided for the discussions.
