Police in Omagh are investigating a report of sexual assault in the New Brighton Terrace area of the town on Thursday, 26th October.
Inspector Alan Smyth said:
"The report was made to police shortly before 3.20pm.
"It was reported that earlier that afternoon, at approximately 12.30pm, a group of youth were approached by a man, believed to be aged in his 60s.
“The man is described as being bald with wispy hair, approximately 5’7’’ tall and was wearing a brown jacket and black jeans.
“The man is reported to have approached two of the boys and made inappropriate comments. He is reported to have kicked one of the boys on the leg."
Inspector Smyth is appealing to witnesses who were in the area at the time:
“I am keen to speak with anyone who was in the New Brighton Terrace area of Omagh shortly before 2pm and who may have seen the incident, or who knows anything about the incident."
