Police officer injured in mass brawl after Ballymena game

A police officer has been injured during a mass brawl in Ballymena.

Its thought up to 40 people were involved in the fight, which followed Ballymena United's footbll match against Glenavon.

It broke out at Warden Street in the town at around 10 last night.

The officer sustained a gash to his hand.

Video footage is currently being reviewed and witnesses are urged to come forward.
