Fraudsters claiming to be from Revenue and Customs are ringing the public, according to reports received by North Coast PSNI.
They threaten to arrest the scam victim if they don't pay an outstanding balance within the next thirty minutes.
Revenue and Customs doesn't phone people in this manner.
And police urge 'don't make any payments or give out any personal details over the phone'.
