The moderator of the Presbyterian Church has expressed concern about the radical powers acquired by the Secretary of State.

Brandon Lewis has urged Stormont ministers to roll out abortion services here before he steps in to order it.

He expressed hope he won’t have to compel the department of health to move on the issue after he laid new regulations at Westminster yesterday.

Rev David Bruce is warning unilateral action will devalue power-sharing and set a dangerous precedent.
