A PSNI vehicle has been struck by a bolt fired from a crossbow in North Belfast.
The rear windscreen was shattered in the incident at Tennent Street between 5 and 7 yesterday evening.
It was parked in the station's car park at the time.
The metal tipped bolt is believed to have travelled over 40 metres from the Cambrai Street area.
Detectives have described the incident as wreckless - saying it could have injured either a police officer or a member of the public.
