Police are at the scene of a security alert in Derry/Londonderry following the discovery of a suspicious objject.
It was found in the Clon Elagh area of the city this morning.
Residents are being asked to leave their homes while officers examine the object.
The public is asked to avoid the area.
There are no further details at this time.
