Concerns have been raised over the safety of pedestrians on a busy Waterside street.
Spencer Road is often reduced to single-lane traffic due to heavy congestion.
However, local DUP councillors have claimed that lives are being put at risk by drivers ignoring pedestrian crossings.
A spokesperson said:
"We have contacted the PSNI and Road Service about concerns surrounding the crossing opposite the doctors surgery.
"People have been almost knocked down by road users not giving way to pedestrians.
"PSNI and Road Service are liaising and [will] hopefully resolve this issue."
