Schools in NI will remain closed on Tuesday because of the potential damage from Storm Ophelia overnight.

The decision was taken by the Department of Education.

Three people have been killed as the Storm crossed the Republic.

In County Tipperary a man in his 30s died in a chainsaw accident.

Meanwhile, a tree fell on car killing a woman in her 50s in County Waterford and a third person's died after a falling tree struck a car north of Dundalk in County Louth.
