Search and rescue teams are on the Foyle in Derry Londonderry tonight.
It's understood they are looking for a man in the river.
The PSNI have told Q Radio News they are dealing with an ongoing incident.
In a statement at 6.26pm it was confirmed the Foyle Bridge had been shut.
Early reports suggested there had been a crash but sources suggest a man entered the water earlier this evening.
