Detectives are appealing for information after a man, believed to be elderly, was attacked by two men his Stewartstown home.
It's believed to have happened shortly before 11am yesterday on the Drumcairne Road.
Police say the two entered the rear of the property, assaulted the householder before ransacking it and making off.
As a result, the victim was treated for minor injuries and was badly shaken by the ordeal.
One of the attackers has been described as being 40 years of age and around 5 ft 9 inches in height.
It's also understood he had a full facial beard, was wearing a yellow fluorescent jacket with jeans and speaking with a local accent.
The second attacker was also described as being around 40 years of age, speaking with a local accent and wearing a jacket and jeans.
