The PSNI's become the latest target of youths stoning passing traffic in Derrybeg.

It happened on the Camlough Road last night.
A patrol vehicle was damaged as it responded to a distress call.
Police say the offenders who were pelleting traffic from behind a fence, had covered their faces.
They caused minor damage this time but it has been an ongoing issue, one that locals believe community groups should tackle.
Community groups believe the PSNI and housing executive should put a stop to it.
In a social media post Newry police appealed for witnesses to contact them.
They posted this message, "Newry will now have one less Police vehicle to attend serious incidents."
And went on, "The only people these youths are affecting are those in their own community not to mention the taxpayer whose pocket the repair costs will be coming out of."

A local councillor's condemning stoning attacks after youths targeted a police vehicle last night.
Newry and Mourne councillor David Taylor says it's 'idiotic' and dangerous,

"The people out there that are perpetrating these attacks, they need to take a hard look at themselves... they really are placing their safety and lives of motorists in serious danger."
