The Stormont Executive is meeting today to discuss plans to accelerate the return of children to the classroom. 

Peter Weir wants all primary school pupils back by March 22 with all secondary school children back after the Easter holidays on April 12.

It follows calls for an emergency mental health strategy to put in place to help young people deal a range of issues - including loneliness - as a result of the pandemic. 

Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People Youth Panel member Bronagh Close says problems cannot be ignored:
