There is an ongoing security alert in Meadow Lands, Anrtim after a suspicious object was found this morning.

Police gave Q Radio this statement:

''Police are currently in attendance at a security alert in Meadow Lands, Antrim following the discovery of a suspicious object.

''The Niblock Road is closed at the junction with the Springfarm Road.''
