The Carlingford Ferry in Greencastle.

By Iveren McCallion

An activist who lost a court battle against the council and DAERA over the Carlingford Ferry, has told Q Radio she disagrees with the judgement.

Christine Gibson's argument was that the risk of erosion to the shoreline wasn't properly assessed.

The Greencastle local, who represented herself in court, also claims the ferry crossing could threaten breeding grounds for seals and wild birds.

She lost her appeal against a dismissal of a judicial review last month and told Q Radio that the system has let her down:

The vehicle and passenger ferry launched on Friday.
