Newry officers have issued an appeal after cash was stolen from a church collection box.
The theft happened at St Mary's Church in Warrenpoint on Tuesday between ten in the morning and seven at night.
It's the third theft from a church in the South Down and South Armagh region in the past month.
Gold and silver chalices were stolen from the Parochial House of St Peter at the beginning of March.
Days later thieves stole money from a collection box at St Joseph's in Meigh.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have noticed unusual activity in the area.
