Thousands of people have taken part in the Belfast Pride Parade.
It was one of the biggest parades to be seen in the city and delivered a carnaval atmosphere for the many people who turned out to witness the event.
At an earlier Pride Breakfast event Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar called on Stormont to address the marriage equality issue.
Also taking part were PSNI and Garda officers in full uniform. They received loud cheers from the crowd while taking part in the parade.
Assistant Chief Constable Barbara Gray said it was about equality for all and respecting people's rights.
Meanwhile a protest has been held in Belfast against the Pride Parade.
The Rev David McIlveen from Strandtown Free Presbyterian Church says their opposition to the event should not be viewed as negative.
He says the event is contrary to the teachings of the bible.
However, Belfast Lord Mayor Naula McAlister says it's about equality for all.
