Thirty-four new jobs are being created at The Boulevard shopping destination in Banbridge, with the arrival of three new stores.

Popular clothing retailer Jack Wills will open it's doors as a six month pop up shop in October.

It will be followed by American fashion brand Guess and handbag and accessories brand Radley, which are both due to open in November.

The Boulevard is currently undergoing a £7 million rebrand.

These new brans will join 54 other chains currently on the site, including recently opened Kurt Geiger, Adidas, Skechers and Asics.

The new stores have joined a significant selection of other popular retailers, including Nike, Timberland, Calvin Klein, Beauty Outlet, L.K. Bennett and Jaeger.

Chris Nelmes, Centre Manager, The Boulevard, commented on the arrival of the new stores:

“The Boulevard is continuing to go from strength-to-strength and we are delighted that popular fashion retailers such as Jack Wills, Guess and Radley have chosen The Boulevard for their latest store openings.

“Jack Wills, made famous by its navy and pink branding, will initially be opening a pop-up store which will remain open into Spring 2019. Following this, American retailer Guess and popular accessories brand Radley will open their doors in November.

“The new stores will be a great addition for shoppers in the run up to the busy Christmas shopping period. Our aim is to continue to provide a top-class shopping experience and we will continue to grow and invest in the centre through to the new year.”

Alastair Coulson, managing director of Lotus Property, also said:

“We are delighted that such key fashion retailers such as Jack Wills, Radley and Guess have chosen The Boulevard for their latest store openings. They are all exciting additions to the retail mix.

“We have seen a 25% year on year increase in turnover bucking the trend of the downward trajectory of the retail industry of late. We believe this will continue with Jack Wills, Radley and Guess being a big draw for customers.”
