Tributes are being paid following the death of local artist Stephen Martin.
Musicians and locals alike have been paying tribute to the 29 year old, known throughout the music scene as Rainy Boy Sleep.
The Lifford-born singer was missing for over three weeks.
An Garda Síochána and the PSNI launched a cross-border search after his car was discovered at Fanad lighthouse in County Donegal.
Police in Foyle confirmed they were calling off their search yesterday, paying tribute to Stephen as a 'true gem' of the city.
Derry-singer Soak toured across Ireland with Rainy Boy Sleep, she said:
"Just heard news of my friend, Stevie Martin, aka Rainy Boy Sleep's passing.
"I remember seeing him play at a festival locally when I was 13 and wishing I could write the songs he was singing, soon after that we made friends and he came to some of my first ever shows.
"We were lucky enough to have him on the road last year in Ireland for a couple of gigs and it was one of the most memorable tours we've done.
"Never saw you without a smile on your face, was a pleasure to know you Stevie, rest in peace x"
Snow Patrol were among those sending their love to Stephen's family.
