Two Armagh town centres to be revamped

Major works will begin at Keady before the end of the month.

Public information sessions will be held today and tomorrow ahead of major works in Keady and Richhill.

Central areas of both towns will be rejuvenated in schemes involving new paving, planting and street furniture.
It's been confirmed works will start in two weeks and are scheduled to be completed by summer next year.

In Richhill works will get underway in Corcreevy Road, Irish Street, New Line and at the War Memorial.

The works in Keady will take place in Armagh Road, Bridge Street, Davis Street, Kinelowen Street, Market Street and the public areas in the town's centre.
Improvements will also be made to the area around the Kirk Monument, the library and the mill.
Works will be restricted over the Christmas shopping period from 5th December until 5th January.

The first public information session in Richhill Recreation Centre is from 4pm until 6pm today. 
And the second session will take place tomorrow in the Tommy Makem Arts and Community Centre in Keady, also from 4pm until 6pm.
