Two men have been arrested after an aggravated burglary in a North Belfast flat yesterday evening.
Speaking about the incident, a police spokesperson said: "It was reported to police, just before 9pm on Monday evening, that two men had entered an unoccupied flat in the area armed with a baseball bat and a knife and caused considerable damage to the property.
"Officers attended and a short time later arrested two men aged 38 and 39 on suspicion of a number of offences including aggravated burglary with intent to cause unlawful damage.
"Both men remain in custody assisting with police enquiries."
