The iconic 'Stitch in Time' public artwork is in need of an upgrade, according to Councillor Mickey Cooper.
First installed on the former Rosemount Factory during the 2013 UK City of Culture, the piece can be seen across the city at night.
Councillor Cooper said
“A number of residents contacted me and said that several of the lights on the Stitch in Time sign on top of the Rosemount Factory were out and was there anything I could do to get them fixed.
"I am calling on the council to carry out repair work on the sign as soon as possible."
