Sinn Fein says new talks will start next week aimed at restoring power sharing in Northern Ireland.

Its Vice President, Michelle O'Neill has told Q Radio she's ready to do a deal to get the Assembly back more than a year after its collapse.

Speaking at an event in Belfast last night, the party's leader in Northern Ireland said, "We'll be there, we'll be talking next week."

"We'll be talking to - as we have done throughout the last year and a half, trying to talk to all the key people we need to be talking to. Particularly the Tanaiste and the British Government who have allowed a vacuum to be created since the talks collapsed back in February".

DUP MP, Ian Paisley said: "We have always been open and up for any negotiation or any settlement that we can try to achieve that is fair and balanced, but you can't push us over and roll us over you've got to come in on the same terms has everyone else".
