Sinn Fein has accused the Government of having no plan to restore powersharing in Northern Ireland.

A fresh round of talks to bring back devolution was expected to begin this week - after discussions between the DUP and the Republican party broke down in February.

Its President, Mary Lou McDonald and her deputy, Michelle O'Neill are now seeking an urgent meeting with the Prime Minister.

She's told reporters, "there was no plan in February, there is now no plan in April and the real danger is that matters slide further and the British government continue to play for time".
