A woman in her eighties has been airlifted to hospital after a multiple vehicle crash outside Banbridge.
Her injuries are described as serious but not life threatening.
A black Seat and a black Nissan Note were involved in the collision.
Several people were reported injured after the incident on the Scarva Road.
A woman in her fifties was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily injury and is in custody assisting officers with their enquiries.
The road between Scarva and Banbridge has been reopened.
