A woman has been arrested after a suspected gun was found at a house in west Belfast during a police raid.
It followed the seizure of a quantity of suspected class A drugs which were found when police stopped a car in the south of the city at around 4pm yesterday.
A 24-year-old woman and a 36 year-old-man were arrested on Upper Crescent.
Police then conducted a follow up search in the Colinvale area which resulted in a 37-year-old woman being detained on suspicion of possessing a firearm.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Shortly after 4pm police observed a male and female acting suspiciously in a car on Upper Crescent in south Belfast.
"Police stopped the car and, following a search of the vehicle and the occupants, recovered a quantity of suspected Class A controlled drugs.
"The 24 year old female was arrested on suspicion of a number of drugs offences. She was interviewed and subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries.
"The 36 year old male was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A controlled drug and possession of a class A controlled drugs with intent to supply.
"During a follow-up search of a house in the Colinvale area of west Belfast police recovered a suspected firearm and a quantity of suspected drugs.
"A 37 year old female was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm in suspicious circumstances.
"She remains in police custody at this time.
"The 36 year old male arrested earlier was further arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm in suspicious circumstances and remains in police custody at this time."
