Woman arrested in follow-up search after £1.3m drug seizure in Dromore

A woman has been arrested in a follow-up search after 1.3 million pounds worth of herbal cannabis was seized in Dromore.

It was found on a shipping pallet inside an industrial-sized fuel tank last Friday.

We're told the 29-year-old suspect is being held after a raid in the Lurgan Tarry area earlier.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "A 29 year old woman has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the importation of a controlled drug following searches of a premises in the Lurgan Tarry area today."
