Woman in fifties dies following County Antrim road crash

A woman has died following a road crash in Ballymoney, Co Antrim.

Police have confirmed the victim was 54-year-old Aurelia Kelly from Ballymena. 

The collision involving a car and a lorry happened on the Frosses Road area at around 2.50pm on Thursday afternoon. 

Aurelia, who was the driver of the car, passed away at the scene. 

A PSNI spokesperson said "A male passenger of the car was taken to hospital following the incident". 

“Enquires are continuing and anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident or who has dashcam footage or any other information, should contact police on 101 quoting reference number 993 04/11/21.”
